Description
The Web Design program is designed for students wishing to pursue a career in web design, development and server side technologies. This program provides the practical and technical skills necessary to be successful in this field. Students learn about the concepts of design, layout, color, typography, and key technologies required to develop interactive robust web content. Students will become technically proficient with key software tools of such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash and ActionScripting. In addition, the program covers the underlying technologies and languages that combine to produce fully functional interactive Web sites and applications. By the end of this program, students will have assembled a portfolio that showcases their ability to translate creative ideas into professional quality Web sites.
