Master of Education in K-12 Instructional Technology: Teacher Licensure, one of online degree programs at Jones International University®, is designed for educators who are pursuing licensure or certification as a technology teacher. The MEd in K-12 Instructional Technology: Teacher Licensure aligns with the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE®), Colorado Department of Education (CDE), and Colorado Commission on Higher Education (CCHE) professional standards. The CDE and CCHE recognize the high quality of Jones International University®’s MEd preparation degrees and have designated Jones International University® as a state-approved program of teacher and principal/administrator preparation. For most states, graduating from an approved program of preparation is an important step toward achieving educator licensure or certification.

Requirements
Applicants to the School of Education Master Degree Leading to Initial Education Licensure must submit to the Jones International University® Director of Admission Services and Student Records their completed Colorado fingerprint card and $39.50 fee (money order or cashier’s check) made payable to Colorado Bureau of Investigation before enrollment or provide proof of professional license. The professional license needs to be a valid state-endorsed K-12 teaching, principal, or administrator’s license.
