Plumbing is a well paying and respectable trade. The Plumber Foundation Program at Vancouver Career College prepares you for a career in this high demand field.
During the 29-week program, students learn the basic procedures and fundamentals of plumbing. Core subjects familiarize students with construction math and science, study of blueprints, plumbing tools and materials, and piping systems. Hands-on training teaches students how to design, construct and maintain a working plumbing system.
Learners also become familiar with Workers’ Compensation Board and Safe Work Practices. After five weeks of training on-the-job, graduates are ready to take on entry-level plumbing positions.
