The Human Resource Management online degree program at Baker College Online provides an intensive strategic understanding of workforce planning and development, compensations and benefits; global human resource management; and employee health and safety. Bachelor of Business Administration - Human Resource Management - Corporate Track, one of the accredited online degree programs at Baker College Online, examines how human resources can be directly linked to business strategy and provides a uniquely broad and unified exposure to the latest thinking and practice regarding human resource approaches that enhance competitive advantage. Each Major Core course contains focused study in the content area accompanied by independent research. Individuals considering this program must have completed an associate degree or have an equivalent of 90 quarter hours (60 semester hours) of credit with a minimum GPA of 2.0 to include the Requisite Courses and Approved Credit. In addition, applicants must have two years of work experience, resume, and successfully complete a writing evaluation. Experiential credit requirements are satisfied through portfolio, transfer credit, or additional course work. This human resource managemen onlne degree program consists of major core (63 hours), requisite courses and electives.Each Major Core course contains focused study in the content area accompanied by independent research. Some of the core courses include: Ethics in Human Resource Management, Strategic Human Resource Management, Negotiating Labor/Management Relations, Organizational Psychology, and Cultural Diversity.
