Vancouver Career College offers an intensive Dental Office Administrator Diploma program to fulfill the high demand for trained administrators in the dental industry. During this 36-week program, students learn to combine general office skills with a broad range of skills specific to dentistry. The curriculum covers general topics including computer skills, marketing, patient communications, and staff relations. Specialized training courses focus on the most current standards in pharmacology, dental health practices and dental billing software.
Students are prepared to answer basic patient questions about dental conditions and prescriptions and to handle day-to-day dental office duties.
After a five-week practicum in your field of study, you will be fully trained to start your career as dental office administrator, dental receptionist, or dental claims administrator.
