Most states require 150 relevant credit hours for CPA certification. The Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting online degree program provides 120 credit hours toward this professional certification and will serve students in the states that require 120 hours. BBA students who need the 30 extra credit hours to become a CPA may opt to continue their education with courses from Jones International University®’s Master of Business Administration specialization in accounting.

Requirements
- Submit an attestation of high school or GED completion.
- Students with less than 30 credits or more of post-secondary work or less than an overall 2.0 GPA may have to pay an additional $24 (USD) fee and need to show evidence of prerequisite skills proficiency by attaining minimum scores on Jones International University® online assessment examinations.
